In the spring of 2024, I created a Zazzle store to try out a marketplace for my first time. My store is called Sharon_Dawn_Canada. There I have created various designs for women & men. You will see clothing, accessories, home decor and stationary. My collections include aprons, t-shirts, notebooks, stickers, wrapping paper, clocks, cards and more. I have designed products using various art, photographs & digital designs.

T-shirts

This t-shirt features a painting I made when I had a studio above a popular restaurant on Queen West. I was right in the middle of all of the action, restaurants, pubs and boutiques. The rumble of motorcycles echoed down the street and the hum of laughter would rise throughout the evening. A rainy day would give way to much peace and quiet to the area with a blanket of calm. The streetcars would clang as they would pass. This abstract impressionistic painting was created at a moment when darkness gave way to the lightness.

Dish Towels

Every canvas I paint, I am left with a strong memory of the feeling and process in which I painted. This painting happened when I lived in the warehouse district of Queen West. I had a studio loft in an eclectic building along with many other artists, musicians and all around interesting people.

Aprons

I enjoy spending many hours in my kitchen cooking by myself or along with others. When time allows I enjoy exploring cookbooks of many cuisines. Some of my fav chefs, foodies and food bloggers are Jamie Oliver, David Rocco, Nadia G., Chuck Hughes, Stanley Tucci and Plantbaes. I enjoy cooking recipes from Italy, Greece, Morocco, India and Mexico. I enjoy trying new foods and cooking is an ongoing journey almost like a meditation. As you cook you work things out and nourish your soul. Some of my fav ingredients are basil, lemongrass, pomegranate, tomatillo, lemon, arugula, coconut milk, prickly pears, granadilla, raspberries, blueberries, prosciutto, edamame, rosewater, watermelon, feta, walnuts, curry powder, parmigiano reggiano, balsamic vinegar, pine nuts and soy.
